2022 Budget Information
The Borough of Mount Ephraim adopted the 2022 Municipal Budget at the May 5 commission meeting. Although the Borough did all it could to keep taxes down, this budget reflects a 9.9 cent increase in the tax rate. Increases in operating costs, fuel, labor costs and losses in revenue left us with no choice but to pass on this increase so we can continue to provide the level of services we provide to our residents. This increase equates to about $143.55 per year on the average assessment or $35.89 per quarter. The public hearing on the Budget was held during the May 5, 2022, commission meeting and was finally adopted.
