Dog licenses have been changed to an October 1 through September 30 licensing period and will continue on that schedule going forward. The deadline to obtain a dog license is November 30 and the fee for a dog license is $18.00 for a neutered dog and $21.00 for a non-neutered dog. If not renewed by December 1, a late fee of $20.00 will be added. Any dog not licensed by November 30 will receive a summons to appear in municipal court. If you had already licensed your dog for 2020, that license will not expire until September 30 of 2021. You can renew that license in October of 2021. To apply for a dog license, just complete the application, put in an envelope along with a copy of the current rabies certificate and a check and either mail in or put in our payment dropbox on the back of Borough Hall. We will mail the license and tag to you. For the application, click here: Dog License Application
The free rabies clinic will be Saturday, September 11, 2021, from 9am-11am, at the Charles Dougherty Senior Community Center at the corner of Lambert and Station Avenues.
